Scottie Scheffler WITB 2026: The Enduring Appeal of Proven Golf Clubs
Scottie Scheffler solidified his position as World Number 1 in 2024 with an astounding seven victories, a season highlighted by wins at The Masters, The Players Championship, and the Tour Championship.
A crucial putter change early in 2024 proved to be a turning point, addressing the only perceived weakness in his otherwise dominant game. This adjustment propelled Scheffler back to his peak performance, initiating a remarkable winning streak that included his second Arnold Palmer Invitational, back-to-back victories at The Players Championship, his second Masters title in three years, and a win at The Heritage the following week.
He ultimately concluded the 2024 season by clinching the Tour Championship, finishing four strokes ahead of Collin Morikawa.
The 2025 season began with a slower pace, but Scheffler re-entered the winner's circle emphatically with an eight-shot victory at the Byron Nelson. This was swiftly followed by a six-shot triumph at The PGA Championship at Quail Hollow, marking his third Major title. His stellar year continued with an immaculate four-shot win at The Open at Royal Portrush, placing him three-quarters of the way towards achieving the career Grand Slam.
Scheffler shows no signs of slowing down in 2026, having already secured his first victory of the year at The American Express by four strokes.
So, what equipment does the world's top golfer carry in his bag in 2026? Let’s take a closer look at Scottie Scheffler's "What's In The Bag" for 2026.
A Deep Dive into Scottie Scheffler’s Equipment
The world number one upgraded his driver to the TaylorMade Qi10 early in 2024, replacing his TaylorMade Stealth 2 Plus with the standard Qi10 model. However, with the introduction of the TaylorMade 2026 Qi4D range, he has made another driver switch for the current season, opting for the new Qi4D.
Notably, Scheffler has also selected the Qi4D for his 7-wood, which he deploys when course conditions demand. This choice reflects a growing trend among tour professionals who utilize a 7-wood for greater versatility, such as advancing the ball from the rough or for long par-3s.
For his standard fairway wood, he continues to rely on the TaylorMade Qi10 model.
Scheffler diverges from TaylorMade for his driving iron, favoring Srixon’s ZU85 in both 3 and sometimes 4-iron configurations. The remainder of his iron set comprises TaylorMade P7TWs, spanning from 4-iron through to pitching wedge.
His wedge setup also deviates from TaylorMade. He carries 50°, 56°, and 60° wedges from Titleist’s Vokey SM8 range. It’s noteworthy that he has not yet adopted the newer SM9s or SM10s, and it will be interesting to see if he eventually integrates the 2026 SM11s into his bag.
He continues to use a TaylorMade Spider Tour X putter and a Titleist Pro V1 ball, resisting the switch to the 2025 Pro V1 model.
