Leona Maguire has an opportunity to achieve her first top 10 placement since the Evian Championship last summer at the Blue Bay LPGA event in China.

The talented golfer from Cavan shot a three-under 69, climbing to a tie for 11th place with a score of five-under. She is currently seven shots behind the leader, South Korea's Mi Hyang Lee, who posted a 71 and holds a three-shot lead over Korea's Hye-Jin Choi and China's Yu Liu, who are both at 12 under.

Meanwhile, rookie Lauren Walsh fell to the back of the standings, finishing the third round with an 80, putting her at 12-over.

It was also a challenging day for LET rookie Aine Donegan at the Australian Women's Classic, held near Sydney.

Donegan, from Ennis, struggled on the greens and recorded a two-over 74. She is now tied for 33rd place at one-under at Magenta Shores Golf & Country Club.

The lead in the Australian event is held by Australia's Kelsey Bennett, who carded a 70, one shot ahead of England's Caley McGinty (68) and Meghan MacLaren (70), both at 12-under.
